I wrote earlier in the year about the Patriots and their arrogance and cheating. They've been negotiating with an ex-employee who has claimed that he has more video taken for the team so that they could steal signs from their opponents. Of course, the Pats maintained that the time they got caught was an isolated incident. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Turns out that wasn't exactly the case.
Well, no fucking shit. Belichick, like most head coaches, is a control freak. If something worked once, of course he's going to do it again. And, since he got caught and fined once, you can bet that he has spent a lot of time figuring out how not to get caught again. But he did.
Last go around the league fined him and the team a bundle and took away a first round draft pick. Taking away NEXT year's draft pick obviously isn't going to make any difference. Perhaps suspending his ass for all of next year (without pay) would do the trick.
